Easter Island, Rome, Sumer, etc. As each society began to implode, elites did not acknowledge the error of their ways and change course, instead, they dug in; they engaged in increasingly extravagant consumption, more wars, and more repression of domestic populations.

Austerity: the aim is not to reduce budget deficit, it is to increase unemployment, thus recreating a reserve army of labor

If all this surveillance is not just targeting U.S. citizens but people everywhere, could we see a revolution/protest, not just in one country, but an organized revolution/protest all over the Western world against global government and corporations?

Reddit has a lot of anger and it needs to be channeled. The "Middle Eastern ppls are savage pedo rapists" posts and the 8,000 angry comments are a good way to get Reddit's focus off of western problems like spying, catholic church, corruption, social injustice, etc.

I bet there is no impending threat from Al Qaeda. Our embassies are really being closed so the CIA can pick through them and destroy evidence related to the Benghazi arms smuggling scandal.

Given the apparent capabilities of the NSA, we should start a petition demanding the use of NSA's capabilities to find and prosecute every entity responsible for the financial frauds of the housing bubble and crash from ~2008.

My mind blown: A good friend of Pres Johnson was David Byrd who started the civil air patrol and efense contractor LTV who made money from government contracts. Byrd also HAPPENED TO OWN THE SCHOOL BOOK DEPOSITORY BUILDING where Oswald was given a temporary job !!
